ABOUT THE NAME

It is a combination of Lean's hair color and his habit of painting black everything he owns, such as surfboards, skateboards, bicycles and textbooks.

ABOUT THE MISSION // ART

It is to bring the work of different artists closer to people by designing affordable clothing made from sustainable production; high quality materials, and by this giving the user the opportunity to express themselves and identify with the brand culture.

ABOUT THE STORY

Lean, born in Bremen in 2000, grown up on Mallorca, is a passionate surfer, traveller and music lover. The idea for Blondy Black came about during his high school years in 2018. The same year before parting to Indonesia Lean produced the first small series of t-shirts, which at that time still featured his own art.

In 2020 after a long term stay on Bali, Lean returned to Germany to complete his studies and starting an apprenticeship for International Commerce.

Over time both the decision to further develop Blondy Black and to work with artists from different streams of life such as fashion, music, skateboarding, painting, "modern art", old school and designing projects developed more and more.

Consequently the first limited edition "Papallona" sold out within a few days.

Today Lean together with a team of friends is in charge of development, design, production, content and distribution (see bellow)
